Poems by Teens about Suicide

The most heartbreaking sadness of all. How depressed and alone must a person feel to contemplate taking this drastic step. When a person feels that he has lost all control of his life, he may contemplate suicide. It is often a cry for help, the only way to make the world take them seriously. Sadly enough, attempted suicides are often seen as the only effective method to help a person get the help they need. For this reason people who feel that they have exhausted all other options may make a suicide attempt.

    Fires ablaze within my eyes,
A smile concealing all my lies,
    Screaming, begging, calling out,
    A final, frantic, desperate, shout.

Scarlet tears drip from each vein,
A vehement covet to end ..........

    One more youth was lost today;
He shot himself in front of his classmates.

    A cigarette in one hand, the gun in the other;
A name faintly whispered, maybe his mother's.

He seemed OK, a well ..........

    Sometimes it gets better
    Sometimes you heal
    Sometimes my eyes get wetter
Waiting for these scars to heal

    The scars on the outer
    The scars on the inner
I scream and I cry louder and louder
    My ..........

I may be metal and have no heart
But in your life I have become a part
As I carve and carve at your tender wrist
I feel in your brain there must be a twist
Is it normal to turn to me for ..........

    Do you wanna know her?
    Do you wanna try?
    Her life's a little complicated
    Let me tell you why,
    She feels unloved unwanted

    Her heart is nearly broken
    She's in a lot of ..........

I loved this boy, I loved him so,
I can't believe he let me go.
He sat this girl upon his knee
and said he chose her instead of me.

    Remember that day
Back in the fall of Ď01?
    I ran down that hill
    Ready for my first
    Soccer practice.
    Not knowing anything
    About the game.
    And there you were
    In the goal knowing
    Everything ..........

In a dark place, with a sad face,
Soaked by rain, there she lay slain.

    A mother cried out,
    And looked into the sky,
She had no chance, No last goodbye.

    A misunderstanding, a fight,
    Took ..........

    There's this girl
She never gives up on you

    She loves everyone the same
Even when they don't want her to

    She's always smiling
    Giving people love

But no one ever asks her
    If she needs ..........
