Poems about Relationships

People expect that friendships will make them feel good all time. When there is something about the relationship that invites complication, friends might start to wonder whether the friendship is a good idea. The truth is that if one expects a relationship to always be fun and lighthearted, he is missing the point of friendship. Everyone wants to hang around when there are good times to be had. The real test of a relationship is being there when the going gets tough.

And hope that God brings a better day
    one with less tears
where I can love with fewer fears
the wrong boys play with my mind

He holds his hand over his cards
Just in case you can see through them.
He makes bets so high and wild
That he must have the better hand

You do not know the game,
But you cannot mistake the ..........

    I miss a perfect friend,
A friend I thought I would never lose.

    You are a great person,
    A gentle soul too.

    You are a sweetheart,
And have a heart of gold to show.

    You are the best,
    But I ..........

Women shall not lie with women
    But I did so
They told me it was not natural
But for me it was happiness
Her voice in my ear was like the sweetness of dew on a fresh piece of melon
    My mother ..........

Everyone comments on how much we’re in love,
But they’ve been caught up in their own issues these past months,
To notice all the insults he’s thrown at me,
    Or how much I’ve cried,

    Everything ..........

    I wouldn't call it love
But I think it's almost there
    I wouldn't call it lust
Too much for you I care
    My mind goes in circles
    My stomach gets real weak
When I try to find how I feel
    Those ..........

    Falling,
    falling into nothing.
    Not wanting to watch,
    but its impossible.
    Can't help but look back.
Can't help hoping you're going to be there,
    looking at me,
waiting for me to come back.
    and ..........

With each passing day, the love I have for you gets stronger.
I wish I had the patience to wait a little longer.
You are "attempting" to make a commitment,
But it seems like you're having some ..........

Your love be blazing fireworks overhead
A brilliant fireball lighting up my heart
Or is it ashes waiting to be spread,
Ready for the wind, to give it depart?

Your eyes glisten like the moon at ..........
